[Mindfulness] Myths

Today, I decided to delve into a topic I am very fond of- Mythology.

Not just the well known Greek, Roman and Norse kind, but extending to Legends, Lores, and even Occult. When Fantasy starts bleeding into reality-kind of thing.

Urban Fantasy as bloody reality- except one we aren’t aware of actually living in.

Surprisingly, this kind of pattern makes me calmer- the idea of the world beyond the current plane we know- of meta and what lies beyond the boundaries of our understanding. In the knowledge of our existence being mere specks in the big picture, you are humbled. In comparison of the unknown, people venture to the abyss to know.

It seems a bit of escapist and borderline Chuunibyou, but hey- the world is always brighter in the side you are happier.

Welp, if you are still reading- congratulations. This sounds like a mad rambling- but it’s just some thoughts around in my head.

Anyways, just another thought I my head. Or maybe it’s the number of books I’ve read (hint hint: PJATO or HP), the media we consume (too many to enumerate) and the belief of a world existing along and against us, unknown by all except the few.

Just another fascinating thought.

PS – what is your favorite myth/ legend/ story/ anything? I do crave new stuff to explore.
